The Little Musical Caravan offers mobile music therapy services to children in mainstream primary schools and pre-schools, homes, and other settings. It provides a compact, fun music-making space with a range of instruments.

Emily Langlois Hunt, founder of the Little Musical Caravan, approached graphic designer Jane Comben of Pogo Design to develop her brand for this inspiring venture. Working closely together, Emily and Jane developed a creative brief.

Almost a quarter of the exhibitor line-up is brand new to the event, with brands such as Monte Christo of Central Otago, Čuvar from Hawke’s Bay and Brokenchack from Barossa. Visitors will also get to discover high-quality Japanese Sake and Filliers Genever (a juniper flavoured spirit originating from Belgium).

The New Zealand Morepork (Ruru) The morepork is a small, compact, dark-brown owl. Its striking yellow to yellowish-green eyes are set into two facial disks either side of a small sharply hooked bill. The back feathers are dark-brown spotted sparsely with off-white. The breast is dark-brown variably streaked with cream and brown through to rufous. The legs are feathered legs down to the yellow feet.

From Pukerua Bay to the great expanses of Queen Elizabeth Park through to Whareroa Farm, the not-so-obvious wildlife needed a little promotion to assert themselves in their own environment.

David Owen - Featured Wellington Artist

David studied graphic design at the Wellington School of Design in the 1980's. He then worked for Wellington Newspapers as a graphic designer and illustrator for many years. Moving on from print media he spent nearly 11 years as a digital artist working on special effects at Weta Digital Studios. He started as a rotoscope artist, then as a texture artist, helping to bring 3D virtual objects to life.
