Will Hansen of Wellington company Earth Starch Waste Solutions is looking to implement a solution for businesses across Wellington that will turn your waste into beautiful rich compost in just a few days.
He is looking to establish ‘The Asher’ a machine that runs with NO electricity, diesel, petrol or gas required, even for 24/7 operations.
Electricity is generated from the integrated solar panels and is more than adequate, enabling the Asher to continue to operate even under raining, typhoon or low sunlight conditions.
2.5-tonne Electric, 2.5-tonne Electric +
Smokeless and 4-tonne Electric requires a very small amount of electricity to run the blower fans in the Asher and is not for the use of energy conversion, i.e. temperature/heat. These three electric variants are designed for optimal efficiency and capacity.
THE ASHER IS VERY USER-FRIENDLY, EFFORTLESS, EASY TO COMMISSION AND WITH EASY MAINTENANCE PROTOCOLS.
The Asher can easily be operated with one person per shift and requires very simple training supervisions for operations and maintenance. Maintenance and operation protocols are documented and can be easily mastered. Installation and commissioning at sites will take only 4-6 hours per unit. Maintenance cycles are weekly and quarterly.
THE ASHER IS CAPABLE OF NOT LESS THAN 90% LANDFILL DIVERSION.
For every tonne of waste, the Asher churns 4% of its original weight in remains in the form of non-hazardous and non-harmful ashes. The remaining 5-6% are non-manageable wastes, which includes metal, ceramic and concrete wastes.
