In 1996, Al Brown and Steve Logan collaborated to launch their own restaurant, which they named after themselves.

While maintaining elegant tablecloths, impeccably dressed staff, and artfully presented dishes, they discarded the haughtiness and snobbishness often associated with this type of dining.

After twelve years, Al Brown departed from the business amicably as he pursued other ventures. However, Steve Logan persevered as the restaurateur and was joined by co-owner and head chef Shaun Clouston.

Having lived in Wellington and visited Logan Brown a number of times over a different decade (mainly for special occasions and staff Christmas dinners) I can personally recommend you put this place on your own dining out bucket list.
